Toker testimonial… March 2024 After separating from my wife, we put our house on the market the day that Russia invaded Ukraine on February 23, 2022 with a real estate agent from Sidney, BC. Four months went by, no open houses, very few appointments and no movement. I was discouraged and insisted on a change. Craig Toker was recommended highly to me by a trusted friend and he accepted the challenge to sell our property which was on native land, and therefore, a land lease. He spent a lot of effort getting things in order for the showings, did regularly scheduled open houses, had lots of appointments with people looking for real estate, and basically worked his tail off to produce a sale. It was challenging, but Craig’s tenacity paid off and one year and one day after it was listed it sold for cash. Craig worked on it for months, but because of the lease, it was a tricky deal with lots of nuances. I’m grateful to Mr. Toker and his entire team that worked tirelessly on my behalf. We found Craig through this platform, and we feel responsible to reflect on our own experience with him too. It’s not hidden to anyone that Victoria has a very hot real estate market similar to Vancouver, leading to many agents having an easy job buying or selling, and unfortunately, many of them having the expectation of closing a deal after a few phone calls and viewings. My condo at 3170 Irma St Unit 401 was listed twice. The first try failed because it lacked what a realtor would do to sell. We kept dropping the price down until I pulled it out from the market. After an on-line search I picked a group of realtors to consider for the sale of my condo. All of my choices were excellent, with similar sales and marketing proposals. But in the end it was the complete professionalism of Craig that swayed me. From the outset he answered any question I had fully and completely, and with total honesty. After showing me the marketing he, and his team of professionals would use to market and sell my home we were set. Ivi did an amazing job staging my home (I almost changed my mind it looked so good). The photographers did an excellent job showcasing my place, complete with stills, a virtual 3d tour, and a video presentation by Craig himself. A representation of the firm was on site prior to every showing to make sure things were all in place, and to tour prospective buyers around the property to the amenities that the buyers realtor may not have been aware of.
